# LDFA

The Liberty Dollar Financial Association (LDFA) is the latest evolution of NORFED and the Liberty Dollar Organization. As a Private Membership Association, LDFA enables members to purchase and store silver in audited, managed warehouses. Members can monitor their silver holdings online and view their value in USD based on the current SPOT price. They can transfer ownership of their silver to others or sell it back to LDFA for cash at the SPOT price, providing a straightforward way to transact in silver and protect against inflation.

LDFA offers a Bill Payment Service that prints and mails checks on behalf of members, deducting the check's value from their LDFA account. They also issue silver certificates and paper warehouse receipts representing specific amounts of silver, similar to the NORFED notes and certificates of the past. These certificates can be redeemed for physical silver at any time.

LDFA's physical silver is stored in an insured, independent, high-security warehouse. Members' silver ownership is represented in Liberty Dollars and negotiable digital warehouse receipts that can be transferred electronically to any member or business. Membership in LDFA is free and includes a referral program that allows members to earn additional silver.
