  10. Please don't get this important message wrong. NORFED continues to "kick ass". And yes, all the gold and silver is still in the warehouse. All is well. And although it is doing well, it is not doing as great as I know it could. As a businessperson for almost 30 years and the "Senior Economist" since the introduction of The Liberty Dollar over three years ago, I know NORFED could be doing more than it is. I also know the problem. The problem is I. Currently, NORFED is suffering from inadequate planning and the lack of guidance from a full time executive. The simple truth is that over the past three years of "retirement", my schedule has simply caught up with me and NORFED suffers because of it. I simply do not have enough time for my family, business interests and other commitments that I have been shorting for too long. Because of this "simple truth" and because NORFED's mission is bigger than I am, I hereby openly launch our search for an Executive Director. I encourage you to share this search with your friends, email lists, newsgroups, web sites and anyone you may consider to be of interest in this. General Info: Due to NORFED's decentralist philosophy, the Executive Director is not required to live in Evansville. Nor is there any traveling required of the ED unless desired. I will continue to support NORFED and the Executive Director as the Senior Economist, speaker, hired gun and torch bearer for a value backed currency to bring about a fundamental change to the current manipulated monetary system by the Federal Reserve and the Internal Revenue Dis-service. Specifics:

Executive Director must be a self-starter and a doer. Proven track record in marketing, promotion and/or sales Committed to the same political and monetary ideals as NORFED Full time, minimum of 40/wk, with a totally flexible schedule. Could work from home, but must live in the United States Must be computer literate and possess the techno skills this age requires No formal training in economics or politics is required Paid position. Salary is results driven and commensurate on experience. Salary should be well over $5000 cash per month, no withholding Three month trial period prior to permanent position Does not have to be a Redemption Center to apply for position Must be in good health and possess a positive mental attitude Duties: Business manager Turn a profit for NORFED that can be used towards its goals Manage cash flow, projections, and review monthly financials Generate 100 to 150 new Redemption Centers per month Write monthly newsletter, press releases, interviews, etc. Organize conference calls, radio interviews, and follow up leads Grow the organization into strategic relationships with other groups Negotiate national and international promotional campaigns Interact with the National Fulfillment Office in Evansville, Indiana Continue to market the NORFED Solution and its hope for the future Develop, track, and review profitability of all marketing plans. Report directly to the Board of Directors Ideal Candidate: A retired yet energetic advertising executive who wants to make a difference. Someone who realizes that we are in a marketing war and seizes upon the uniqueness of issuing money as a proactive, non-violent weapon to return America to value one Liberty Dollar at a time. Visa and MC to issue $$$ 3. As amazing as it may seem, I recently received information from a reliable source that reports that Visa and MasterCard won a recent court decision against the Federal Reserve. The court rules that the FR does not have an exclusive to issue the US Dollar. Much along the lines that Greenscam has testified that the FR can not do their job of manipulating the economy (as they think they should) because of all the "dollars" that are created by credit cards, etc. I think this is earth-shaking news, but this is all I have. So PLEASE do not email me asking for more info. If you have anything akin to this, I would welcome your info. NORFED 753 vs. Federal Reserve 46 4. New score board. Recently, I did a search on Yahoo.com for "Federal Reserve" and found 46 sites. Most of the sites are about the 12 regional banks (guess where the idea for Regional Directors came from?). Three out of the 46 are negative sites. So then I did a search for "NORFED" on Yahoo.com and WOW! 753 Sites!!! Is this is sign of the new vs. the old? Are we winning and don't know it yet? Well, we sure hope so. In reality, a lot of the sites are the results of NORFED articles initiated by Redemption Centers and the new Affiliate Program. If you have not signed up for an Affiliate number or asked your local newspaper about an article, please do so. MORE IMPORTANTLY, if you do not list "NORFED" as a "meta" word for your site, please add it and lets see the score go to 1000 to 46! Of some note is Frederick Hayek, noble laureate, private money supporter and subject of Article #12, he has 169 sites on Yahoo.com. Value of the Dollar 5. My thanks to Mike Heit, noted RC, friend and Vietnam Vet. A 2001 dollar would have bought $16.46 back in 1914. Amazing! The first Federal Reserve Notes that were issued in 1914 after the Act was passed in 1913, were 100% backed by gold and payable to the bearer on demand. Now they are backed by our country's military might. A very sorry state of affairs. And with our new perpetual "war" it is going to get worse. The interesting story here is that when I stopped by to visit with Mike in Indianapolis, he had not gotten a Newsletter for months and did not even know that Redemption Centers get $100 for each RC they sign up, etc. Congratulations & Thanks, Mike! Question of the month 9. Since NORFED is non-profit, is it a "501 (c) (3)? Nope! Nor would it ever be. First, it would be rather parenthetic for NORFED, which is opposed to the lying IRS, to ask them to be classified as "non-profit". Second, non-profit organizations only need the 501 if they file and accepts donations. Neither of these reasons are applicable to NORFED. And third, organizations do not need a 501 to be "non-profit". Currently, NORFED is a non-profit corporation chartered in Nevada and uses 100% of its income towards its educational mission to bring about the repeal of the Federal Reserve and the IRS, just like our name. Redemption Center of the Month 10. Recently, I appeared at East Coast Freedom Rally just outside of Washington DC presented by the Freedom Law School. It was yet another quality event organized by Peymon Mottahedeh.

And although it did not have some of the speakers, it did feature a good collection of speakers including Willis Carto, Bill Still and Steve Hempfling. So it is time to acknowledge Peymon for his outstanding efforts and name him the Redemption Center of the month. Thank you Peymon for your many efforts! Quote of the Month 11. For anyone not familiar with Frederick Hayek, the American Nobel Laureate and modern pioneer economist in support of competing private currencies, I strongly encourage you to search him out on the net. For example in, Choice in Currency: A Way to Stop Inflation, Hayek explains why private money such as The Liberty Dollar makes sense for both the consumer and business. "There is no reason whatever why people should not be free to make contracts, including ordinary purchase and sales, in any kind of money they choose, or why they should be obligated to sell against any particular kind of money. There should be no more effective check against the abuse of money by government than if people were free to refuse any money they distrusted and to prefer money in which they had confidence."
